In an eco-designed website, every detail matters to keep the page light. No heavy fonts (system fonts preferred), minimal images—small and always optimized in AVIF or WebP to reduce weight—vector-based icons and graphics, little to no JS animations, no carousels, etc.
But with a bit of creativity, this minimalism fades away, making room for a rich and engaging visual experience.
